In just a few months of private lessons with Simonida and Sveta, I can feel a huge difference in my skills as a leader. They have a deep understanding of the structure of tango as a social dance. They teach short practical sequences that are just the right granularity, long enough that you can use them to achieve a flow even as you're learning, but not so long that you feel like you're just executing somebody else's choreography. Their approach to technique also hits the spot, correcting your form when it's getting in the way, but not overwhelming you with information. During those early days of my introduction to Argentine Tango, Simonida and her family, all of whom are great dancers, led me by hand into this amazing world of dancing.
